8.00 (good) It's just not my kind of anime....too slice of life, so for me, it's pretty boring. I would be biased if I gave it a crappy rating so I'll just leave it as an 8

7.00 (above average) waaaay too long for it's own good, and there are too many characters to keep track of.
But recent chapters are pretty intense.

7.00 (above average) meh. It kinda drags on too long.

Bride of the Water God

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 06, 2010

8.25 (good) Sometimes, the romance seems bland (but that's only because I've only read the beginning chapters...namely, until chapter 24) because, well, I mean, she just got sacrificed to some god who looks like a kid.
I'm sure it becomes a lot better after a whole ordeal kind of situation. But, presently, 8.25 is what I rate it, which is already pretty good.

9.50 (excellent) Allen Walker, the 14th, Millenium Earl, Cross Marian..........whenever the story was directed at them, I fell in love.
At first, Hoshino Katsura seemed to add in moments of unnecessary humour, but as the story progresses, it improves a lot. I could reread all 200+ chapters over and over again because the story flows that well. It's one of those stories that keep on adding more mysteries while teasing its audience with vague answers. One of my favourites.

Elfen Lied

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

10.00 (excellent) I LOVE Elfen Lied. Especially Lucy.
It's pretty mature if I recall correctly, so unless you can stand watching lots of....disturbing things, you should probably steer clear. Although, I would give it a high recommendation to people who are prepared... Because of its dark nature, the ecchiness does not really do anything but make it darker. I like the anime much more than the manga, which is something rather rare for me.

Fate/stay night

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Sep 11, 2010

9.50 (excellent) EXCALIBUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*ahem
The storyline, the animation, the characters were intricately woven into what is known as the masterpiece Fate/Stay Night... ok, for me, the ending did a lot of the work. After watching it, I was so curious of the legends of King Arthur...*sigh

High School Debut

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

9.25 (very good) Pretty addicting....and sweet. The main character's pretty cool and there's some pretty funny stuff that happens. I think that, although it is a typical shoujo manga, it has something special to it that makes it more enjoyable than others. Their love does not start off immediately, nor is it initially definite that they will be together. She begins seeking help with love. But not his love. Her first love is not him, but a friend. As they spend more and more time together, they become closer and their bonds become stronger. I think I'm going to reread this.

High School of the Dead

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

8.50 (very good) If not for the excess amount of boobs, panties and overall ecchi, this anime could have done much better. The animation is incredible, one of the best I've seen considering that it is based on the manga of the same name. If they focused more on the seriousness of the situation rather than having characters like Shizuka-sensei, this anime would have gotten more favourable reviews.

Inuyasha

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

7.50 (good) It went downhill after a while....dragged on too long
The only thing that kept me reading it was
*ahem*
SESSHOUMARU!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I have not read the manga, so I don't know the "true" story, so this review is just about the anime. Their journey to find the Shikon jewel shards became more and more repetitive. Walks into village. Must save village. Inuyasha complains. They stay in village. Saves village. Sometimes finds a shard. Something about Naraku. Miroku gropes Sango. Shippo tries to be a wiseass. END OF EPISODE. Next episode. Repeat. Honestly, the only thing interesting about Inuyasha after a while was Sesshoumaru. Rin and Sesshoumaru. Actually, anything to do with him was more interesting than the main group.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

7.75 (good) not bad, not bad.
The hardcore fangirls make me cringe though. The first 100+ chapters are incredibly boring. It consists mainly of Reborn shooting Tsuna with that Dying Will Bullet for ridiculous things. However, once they actually introduce an enemy (Mukuro <3) it becomes slightly better. In my opinion though, it is a pretty bad shonen. I think the only reason it became so popular was because of the excess amount of bishies. It did improve a lot, but it's still below standards.

Kimi ni Todoke

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

9.50 (excellent) It's sweet. But not that overwhelming kind. It's about an innocent, shy girl who tries to portray her feelings properly to others, but because of her resemblance to the Sadako (from The Ring) she is isolated. There is, however, a young refreshing boy who tries to befriend her and who she, in turns, respects greatly. In this slice of life story, she creates new friendships, a new love, and a sense of belonging in her class. It's a lovely story.

Kiss of Rose Princess

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

7.75 (good) so many bishies.......*blinks*
I don't know why but the entire cast of Barajou no Kiss is pushing the line. What line, you may ask? The line that will plummet its reputation into the abyss of shame. I can only just tolerate the characters. They're not horrible characters....yet...hopefully, but it's just that they're pushing the line. There are some moments that make me fangirl inside but at the same time, nothing happens. It's....mediocre, I guess.

Kuroshitsuji

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 23, 2011

9.50 (excellent) I love Kuroshitsuji, but the anime ruined it for me. It would otherwise would have been a 10.
The anime isn't actually that bad, although, the animation is pretty awful, and there's too many fangirls to please. The anime seems all about profit off of fans. I would not recommend the anime. Read the manga. Here's my review (for the manga):
It's quite dark, and unexpectedly so. Why? Because the silly first chapters. But as the story progresses, the adventures of Ciel and Sebastian take on a darker theme. It is not simply about revenge and corruption. It's also about the fallacies of mankind, their hope in the face of desperation, and the will to sacrifice everything for one goal. It's tragic because Ciel is young, younger than most of us who read the manga. Yet he has suffered more than we could ever believe. Is he a strong character? Perhaps not. But as a human being, he perseveres to achieve his one goal of revenge. Will he be able to fulfill it? We have yet to know.
Also, the character of Sebastian is incredibly demon-like. He is cruel, sadistic, and yet loyal (but only to his aesthetics). He is skilled at everything yet he can only do it alone. He is not human and therefore cannot interact with them. He may be the image of perfection but he is not. As we read the story, Sebastian and the rest of the characters seem more and more separated. This disparity, though I do not know if it is intended or not, isolates Sebastian and marks him as a devil. Yet, he can blend in to the society as if he were a human. This is frightening as it shows that evil exists among good, but it is so well hidden that we could never recognize it, even if it should be obvious.
The relationship between Sebastian and Ciel seems to be one of absolute trust. They are so intricately intertwined that it is a bit scary to think how much Ciel has associated with evil. Yet, he does it because he is willing to sacrifice his soul for revenge. Ciel and Sebastian are alike in a way, but Yana Toboso also manages to keep them separated. Ciel succumbs to evil and is more susceptible to it, even without Sebastian's help. His fate lies with the devil, and is forever connected to the dark. Human nature is more demonic than a demon.
